Short presentation
We are a bilingual group students of the first course of Primary Education, and this is" School Organization & Educational Resources"", a subject in the second semester. We have learn how use the technology and how we can apply it in the future with our students and, at the same time, the contents of this subject. Do this sound familiar to you? Of course, we have learned how to use the TPACK model.
At first is a little bit confusing and complicated to understand but believe us, it is possible and a perfect way to teach. EVERYBODY CAN DO IT!
The best ten moments
A good way to continue with this presentation, it is remembering the ten best moments of this year with this subject.
-1st When Londones came to our class. It was awesome to see how other teachers like Linda try the methodology sucessfully. She was pretty expresive and keep our attention trough all the explanations she did. Moreover, she asked us to go outside and this was one of the best moments in the course because we improved our creativity and we had so much fun searching for the perfect picture to express "Education".
-2nd The discover of Mannel. Mannel is a wonderful teacher who cheer us to follow this TPACK methodology. He teach us that this is a great way to improve the future teach. He also show us new apps to integrete in education. It was a break for us.
- 3rd When we win the MOOVLY! We know our work was good but what we didn't expect was winning the competition with against all the groups in class. We couldn't believe when each one of the groups put us one of the highest marks. We were exciting, screaming, clapping... It was an awsome day. We feel our work was rewarded.
- 4th When we recorded the videos of the Dark Side of Textbooks: Having fun learning is easier. That was what happened with the videos. Firstly, we learn about textbook and why they are appropiated for education. Then, we have to capture that in our videos so creativity was fundamental. We laughed a lot recording them and for that and for how much we discover about it , we choose this activity to be part of our Iportfolio.
-5th The fellowship in the group: For us, this is one of the most important part of this subject and I have to remark that we think that it is the most important. Every week we have worked as group, working together and helping each other.
In this subject we have learned it, and put it in practice every week. And we will never forget the moments together.
-6th Textbooks: We realized we were absolutely blind about it. We don't know any of the bad aspects of textbooks and it was very surprising for us to know them. Is something important that we have to keep in mind for our future students. The editorial's power, how sometimes they are not objetive, how some teachers are not able to show what they know without them, etc...All of this discovers we made allow us to say that they are not good and we are perfectly able to be good teachers without textbooks.
-7th Self-sufficiency: One of the things that with our reflexions we think that it is very important it is the self-sufficiency. At the beginning of the course, we thought that it is imposible to do a lot of things that here and now we dominate perfectly. So, for this reason, we have learned that we can do a fantastic and amazing things, above all, with the technology and ourselves.
-8th The first presentation about TPACK model: We remember with joy the first presentation in this subject about TPACK model. It was amazing, because we didin´t know the correct way to do the presentation and how could we did.
But, for us, it is one of the best moments in the subject because we realized that we have started to discover something new, and we interacted with other groups in the class and finally we were able to overcome our expectations.
-9th Presentation about religions: This was the first time Linda told us that we did a great job. So for these reason we remember this moment as one of the best too. And that day, we realized that we were able to do a perfect work working hard every day.
-10th See the blog after all the work: It is amazing you realized and see all the work during this semester. We have had a lot of works and presentations, and we have learned a lot. Another thing that I want to remark that with this methodology to work with the blog, we can always see all the works and the information inmediatly.
